Many citizens have difficulties obtaining residence permits or accessing social security entitlements. We must help European citizens to live in the Member State of their choice. The number of petitions is testament to citizens’ dissatisfaction with regard to putting this freedom into practice. I supported the report as it highlights the need for greater transparency and the need to consolidate communication policy so that citizens may fully enjoy their rights."@en1
