lpv:translated text	"I voted in favour of Mr Lamassoure’s report. I share the rapporteur’s opinion on the need to adapt Council Question Time during the part-sessions following the entry into force of the Treaty of Lisbon. I believe it is important that Parliament, which is now on an equal footing with the Council in legislative and budgetary functions, gain as much as possible from the new powers granted to it by the Treaty. This amendment to the regulation is therefore a welcome one as it puts an end to the lack of balance in Parliament’s relationship with the Council. In addition, I note that there will still be the option to ask the Council about its specific responsibilities."@en1
