lpv:translated text	"On Thursday, 29 March, the European Parliament adopted by a very large majority the report on the functioning and application of established rights of people travelling by air. This report proposes concrete measures in favour of air passengers which should influence the version that will be presented by the European Commission in 2013 during the revision of the legislation on air passengers’ rights. Faced with regular delays and a lack of information, Parliament has drawn up recommendations guaranteeing full recognition of passengers’ rights. Among its demands, Parliament has called for better provision of information for passengers with contact personnel from each company to be present at airports, price transparency, a clamp-down on the proliferation of abusive clauses, clarification of passenger compensation criteria and improvements in the handling of persons with reduced mobility."@en1
