lpv:translated text	"I voted in favour of this report, which proposes stronger and more uniform European legislation on air passenger rights. It will provide passengers with better price information, clarify the rules on compensation for lost or delayed baggage and protect passengers against the unfair commercial practices that they have to face today, such as additional charges for online reservations, unilateral rescheduling of flights or price discrimination against passengers on the basis of their country of residence. I have fought for these measures to be adopted. Passengers must not be left behind in the rapid development of the aviation industry and I believe all operators are well aware of this. I shall ensure that my proposals are taken up in future legislation."@en¹
