It is about take-over, not about trade. This Vălean report wants harmonised tax, social security, state benefits, pensions, even divorce laws right across the EU. What is this to do with trade? What is this to do with the common market? It is about harmonising arrangements to create a single European state. Well, I am not an EU citizen and I will not be an EU citizen. I am a loyal subject of Her Majesty The Queen, in her 60th year of rule, and this Vălean report is an insult to that loyalty."@en1
