I therefore voted in favour of the international agreement, which seeks to strengthen cooperation between producing and importing countries. This resolution will also facilitate the role of the International Cocoa Organisation (ICCO), a structure which provides information on the global market and promotes cooperation between its member countries, as well as making global trade in cocoa fairer and more sustainable.
