"First of all, I agree on the call for countries that have still not done so to ratify the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and the International Labour Organisation’s conventions Nos 138 and 182 and to implement them swiftly. This must be the first step towards fostering awareness across the globe of the scourge of child labour. Governments should pay particular attention to the risks to the health of children made to work in cocoa plantations. I voted in favour."@en1
