Children who are victims of child labour, on top of not having access to education, are often victims of ill-treatment, physical and psychological violence, and abuse by supervisors, work colleagues and others. Although programmes and initiatives to combat the worst forms of child labour on West African cocoa farms have made significant progress in recent years, much remains to be done.
