lpv:spoken text	"Mr President, my group supports the call for this resolution to welcome FYROM to the EU as soon as possible. As a member of the Delegation to the EU-former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia Joint Parliamentary Committee, I have been following the debate with great interest. I have been following the areas such as inter-ethnic reconciliation, fundamental rights and reforms and public administration. They all show some sign of improvement and I hope that this will continue. FYROM has also made steps towards improving its human rights. Now I understand the importance and cultural significance of the name issue and I hope that this will be resolved in due course by the parties concerned. What we need to do is to ensure that the groundwork is prepared for FYROM to become a full member when it meets the required EU criteria."@en1
