"I have voted against the report. As with many proposals, it represents a permanent breach of subsidiarity and takes the EU’s general over-emphasis on integration to new extremes. Combining a large number of paragraphs, only some of which are similar and have suitable content, gives the impression that everything falls under the heading of women’s rights. For example, there is specific mention of the fact that it is regrettable that many Member States provide support for families. In my opinion, supporting families is a fundamental political issue which I do not want to disappear. Incorporating political mistakes into the fabric of society, as the rapporteur suggests, will not make these mistakes any better."@en1
