"I decided to vote in favour of this resolution. This positive vote strengthens our trade links with Morocco. It is a vote that reminds us that the EU is committed to providing support for economic and political developments in Morocco. This resolution highlights the importance of the agricultural agreement for both Morocco and the EU. It acknowledges the qualities of our Moroccan trading partner while presenting the concerns expressed by European producers, so as to enable the Commission to make an appropriate response. This resolution will allow us to monitor the implementation of the agricultural agreement. I am confident that Morocco, like the EU, will be able to respond."@en1
