lpv:translated text	"I chose not to vote in favour of the joint resolution because the European Commission has given the Hungarian Government an extension until mid-March before it has to have modified its legislation. Surely, it is only natural that we await the outcome of that formal procedure before we take such a firm position and start to threaten to wheel out the big guns in the form of Article 7? Exactly one month from now, we will find out whether or not the Hungarian Government is willing to accommodate the Commission’s demands. If they are not, then that will be the right time for the Commission to take measures. Otherwise, it seems to me that the grounds for making a new resolution will no longer exist."@en1
