"The formal establishment of the European Observatory on Infringements of Intellectual Property Rights should help provide independent data and facilitate the exchange of good practice in the area of counterfeiting and piracy. One of the main disputes over Intellectual Property Rights abuse is the impartiality of data. By voting in favour of this report I hope the establishment of the Observatory will be able to act as an independent source that is accepted by all sides."@en1
