We are all aware that in most Member States, major investment is required to introduce waste management strategies and suitable infrastructures and facilities. This is why I believe that public authorities should also consider the possibility of earmarking an appropriate proportion of Cohesion Fund resources for this purpose or of applying directly for funding from the European Investment Bank."@en1
