My constituency of London is home to a number of companies who use products such as disinfectant and pest control products, which, for human health and environmental reasons, require a certificate of authorisation. To achieve authorisation, a company has to put together a dossier, including proof that there is no viable alternative. The new regulation introduces a mandatory data-sharing mechanism to avoid duplication of studies which will save money and time for companies requiring such authorisation."@en1
