lpv:translated text	"This directive is aimed at contributing to the reuse, recycling and recovery of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) in order to achieve the sustainable production and consumption of such goods. I am voting for this report, as I agree with the development of European standards in the collection and treatment of WEEE, the establishment of eco-design requirements which facilitate the reuse, dismantling and recovery of WEEE, and progress towards the treatment of goods in an environmentally sound way. Finally, I believe that convenient facilities should be set up for the return of WEEE, including public collection points, where private households will be able to make a positive contribution by delivering their waste. It should be stressed that the costs of this should be reflected in the prices of the products, rather than being the responsibility of the European taxpayer."@en1
