lpv:translated text	"I am confident that the Danish experience and pragmatism will be an important asset for the European Union in the next six months. Europe needs to ensure economic growth and the creation of jobs as a necessary addition to the economic governance and the financial regulation. Without them, the European will lag behind in terms of global competition. One of the basic principles of the single market is the removal of restrictions on the free movement of workers from EU member states. We cannot have a genuine single market without these restrictions removed. Therefore, further steps in this respect are very important in the next period. The recent positive decision taken in this respect by Italy is most welcome but the Member States which are still maintaining some restrictions need also to be convinced. I believe that the Danish pragmatic approach will help in achieving progress related to the removal of restrictions on the free movement of all EU workers."@en1
