I would take this opportunity to stress that is very important to retain this programme for the next Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF), 2014-2020. The EU will always be obliged to provide help in these situations, defending the European social model so as to protect companies and workers made weaker by various situations, pursuant to the criteria already laid down in the current MFF, as well as seeking to expand its scope for action."@en1
