". Madam President, during this last speech, I would like to make an appeal to the Commissioner to not be content with the legislative measures we are pushing. The legislative package for the victims that has been presented is very significant, and victims’ rights are very important, but we also need a common action against this private terrorism and against this violence that occurs in all European countries. Therefore, data is what we need first. So, speed up not only the survey, but also the possibility of Member States providing their data and we could finally have the official European figures on violence in Eurostat. Also, push for a common action, push for a common action plan, not only for judges and police, and for their training, which is very important, but also for many preventative actions that some Member States are successfully implementing. Let’s see if it is possible to create a truly violence-free Europe with this common action plan, where there is zero tolerance on violence, and where we can say that borderless protection and a different Europe exists."@en1
