It hasn’t been easy to reach this point: it has been far too difficult. However, I first want to applaud the initiative of the Spanish Presidency in starting the process, then the joint work carried out by Ms Jiménez-Becerril and Ms Romero, from the Committee on Women’s Rights and Gender Equality and the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs, showing that the coordination under Rule 51 is successful, which I hope is also the case for the package relative to the victims.
