It is neither fair to the European Union, nor does it take account of the protection of fish stocks, and I will therefore vote against it. However, I must also say that this is not a unique situation. For the same reasons, we ought to step up the dialogue with our Black Sea neighbours, as a matter of urgency, in particular with Turkey, perhaps as part of a specific institutional framework modelled on the General Fisheries Commission for the Mediterranean."@en1
