lpv:translated text	"HIV infection is still a widespread phenomenon in our society and people are often unaware that they have been infected. Accordingly, we need to take all necessary measures in terms of treatment, but also in terms of prevention, since AIDS is a preventable disease. In this vein, I support HIV/AIDS prevention programmes becoming an integral part of sexual and reproductive health care and making it easier for women to have access to preventive treatment, since they often run into difficulties due to lack of available financial resources and their child care responsibilities. I therefore welcome the measures put forward by the rapporteurs both to the EU institutions – the Commission and the Council – and to the Member States, in order to improve and increase the effectiveness of the fight against HIV/AIDS in the European Union and neighbouring countries. That is why I voted in favour of the draft resolution."@en1
