lpv:translated text	"The report we have voted on reveals an unequal treatment of partners. All residents of the Kaliningrad region have the opportunity of crossing the border; meanwhile, on the Polish side, only a 50 km wide section of the border area is covered by the visa-free travel programme. This harmful inequality must be resolved by extending the zone to cover the entire voivodship, and by discussing this issue at the next EU-Russia meeting. Unfortunately, the resolution also fails to mention the possibility of the movement of commercial and tourist vessels through the Pilawa Strait onto the Vistula Spit. Currently, the Russian side wants to limit the right of innocent passage with regard to the category of the straits. I think that we as the Union should seek to compensate for inequalities in the treatment of the inhabitants of the regions bordering the Kaliningrad region and provide the entire population of the voivodship, not just of selected districts, with the opportunity to enter the Kaliningrad region freely."@en1
