"The question of net neutrality is still relatively unknown to the public at large, a situation that is likely to change quickly in the coming years as society becomes increasingly dependent on Internet services. Accordingly, it makes sense to establish a common framework to secure net neutrality into the future and to prevent anti-competitive practices, thereby upholding freedom of information, consumer interests and pluralism. The resolution calls on the Commission to ensure the consistent implementation of the existing legal framework and to take net neutrality as the basis for EU Internet governance. I have voted in favour."@en1
