lpv:translated text	"I voted in favour of this important report by Ms in’t Veld, which not only covers the question of Passenger Name Record (PNR) data, but also constitutes a step towards an integrated and coherent strategy on aviation safety generally. Nowadays, the prevention of possible terrorist attacks is still a priority for air transport, and in this area there is still a great deal that we must do. That is why it is important that the transfer of sensitive data between Europe and Australia is effective in preventing transnational crime without placing an excessive burden on passengers. To this end, I particularly welcome the calls for the use of regulations appropriate for their protection and guarantees on the protection of health and passengers’ rights in general. In future, due to our daily commitment, these agreements must not be recognised solely through law, but must be of irrevocable worth for the safety of society around the world."@en1
