lpv:translated text	"− This Directive aims to establish minimum rules concerning the definition of criminal offences and sanctions in the area of sexual abuse and sexual exploitation of children, child pornography and solicitation of children for sexual purposes. It defines offences concerning sexual abuse, sexual exploitation, and solicitation of children for sexual purposes and aggravating circumstances thereto, as well as the minimum maximum levels of penalties for the offences. The Directive also defines the rules on seizure and confiscation of instrumentalities and proceeds of such crimes as well as assistance and support for the victims, and preventive intervention programmes and measures.
