Global economic governance must be sufficiently responsive, flexible and pragmatic and must allow for the adoption of a common approach on monetary policy and international trade. Particularly in the context of the current financial crisis, I welcome the calls for a more responsible monetary policy and stronger financial regulation and supervision."@en1
