"I voted in favour of this report and welcome the establishment of a uniform system for trade in firearms, their parts and components and ammunition with the EU. I further welcome the proposal for regulatory guidelines for the export, import and transfer to third countries of the items concerned, in accordance with the UN Firearms Protocol, which has, thus far, been ratified in 83 countries and signed by 52 signatories."@en1
