"Europe is plunging into crisis, and Member States have abandoned any means they had of doing something about it. The European Union has shown that its political project, one that stifles national economies, has collapsed.
European integration at all costs leads to a clear impasse, yet illegitimate and irresponsible leaders suggest, as ever, that we continue headlong down this path. They must be blind.
The strengthening of European economic governance is, in a sense, tantamount to turning the executioner into a surgeon without changing either his methods or his tools.
We have to free up the economy, and to do so we must recover our national freedoms by accepting that we must make an effort, and by introducing the forms of cooperation we need while, at the same time, protecting our jobs and markets."@en1
