".
Madam President, the eastern partnership policy is a very good policy, which is mutually beneficial for the six eastern European states and the EU. This policy requires a longer process; its results will not be achieved immediately, but will only appear after several years. Through this policy, the European Union is offering a helping hand to these states to follow a democratic path and to improve the living standards of their citizens.
This morning, we have talked about a new trade policy for Europe. This is an area that can also be boosted by the eastern partnership and free trade agreements. The advantages of a single common market will make it possible to gain more from the free movement of capital, goods, services and people. An improvement in economic cooperation will definitely make room for a change in the visa system and the development of tourism, and will also support security and stability in the states of Eastern Europe."@en1
