lpv:translated text	"Madam President, we are now discussing what the next budget period in the seven years starting from 2014 will be like. I personally believe that we should be talking more about our young people, our future generation, in this period. When discussing the budget, we should surely talk about programmes and programme support over the next seven years, and not just mobility programmes and education programmes such as the Erasmus programme, but also other programmes that are important for young people. The main one is the Youth in Action programme, which helps young people to get an informal education, experience and perhaps a different view of the world from the one they would get in school. In my opinion, we should therefore definitely support this programme in the coming period, as well as all of its components, just as they are. I also particularly support the non-profit and non-governmental youth organisations which are the prime movers in this, helping young people to gain experience and providing a space for them in which they can develop themselves and acquire their own outlook on the future. It is therefore important for us to support this."@en1
