I urge the Commission to launch negotiations with Moldova without further delay on including the deep and comprehensive free trade area as an integral part of the Association Agreement in order to promote full political and economic integration of Moldova with the EU and to enable Moldova to attract foreign investment and become more productive in order to end its dependence on remittances and make the transition to an export-competitive market economy. I recognise, nevertheless, that Moldova should first demonstrate that it has enough capacity to adapt its legal and economic structures to the demands of trade integration with the EU."@en1
