lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of this report to strengthen the powers and increase the resources that are available to Frontex to allow them to better protect the borders of the EU. A larger budget will allow Frontex to acquire equipment that will enable the agency to deal with an emergency. The report is clear that Frontex will continue to act as a coordinating agency, with the responsibility of day-to-day border controls remaining a responsibility of individual Member States. In response to Parliament’s concerns about the fundamental rights of immigrants, Frontex will appoint a special fundamental rights officer to ensure respect for human rights for immigrants."@en1
