lpv:translated text	"We believe this report on the comprehensive approach to personal data protection in the European Union involves risks to people’s fundamental rights. It is true that the rapporteur acknowledges that the freedoms and guarantees of individuals risk being violated and attacked, resulting from the danger that data will be improperly used by the Member State itself or by other entities, specifically private ones. However, the report itself simultaneously provides for the use of data whenever necessary, giving a vague and unclear idea of its true objectives. As such, we voted against this report because we believe greater attention needs to be given to the protection of personal data, to its improper use, and to how such services are transferred or even coordinated. In the name of security, we do not accept the violation of the fundamental rights, freedoms and guarantees of individuals."@en1
