lpv:translated text	"I voted for this report on the proposal for a decision of the European Parliament and of the Council on the list of travel documents enabling the crossing of external borders and which may be endorsed with a visa, and on setting up a mechanism for establishing this list. I would congratulate the rapporteur on a well structured report for the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs. It is not possible to harmonise recognition of travel documents as it is an exclusive competence of the Member States. However, it must be ensured that the list is continually updated. I also support the creation of a mechanism that ensures the constant updating of the list of travel documents that countries issue, and the introduction of a centralised mechanism for the technical evaluation of these documents. I believe it should be ensured that all the Member States will be able to express their position on whether or not they recognise the listed travel documents, since this falls under their exclusive competence."@en1
