lpv:translated text	"I voted for the mobilisation of the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF) in favour of Denmark because I consider that instrument to be a valuable resource for the support of workers in difficulties on account of the economic crisis. Since 2006, the EGF has provided practical support to European workers made redundant either for reasons associated with the relocation of their companies or, following the 2009 amendment, on account of the economic crisis, in order to facilitate their reintegration into the labour market. The report put to the vote today concerned a request for assistance for 1 650 redundancies, 825 of which are targeted for assistance, in the enterprise LM Glasfiber operating in the NACE Revision 2 Division 28 (Manufacture of machinery and equipment) in the southern part of Denmark (Syddanmark), during the four-month reference period, from 1 January to 30 April 2010, amounting to a total of EUR 6 247 415."@en1
