lpv:translated text	"We support the Commission’s adoption of a new proposal for a decision on the mobilisation of the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF) in favour of Denmark, with a view to supporting the reintegration into the labour market of workers in the enterprise Odense Steel Shipyard, who were made redundant as a result of the global financial and economic crisis. The fund may not exceed a maximum amount of EUR 500 million per year. We think a number of aspects need to be taken into consideration, including: the link between the redundant workers and major structural changes in international trade patterns or the financial crisis; identification of the dismissing enterprises and of the workers targeted for assistance; the territory concerned with its respective authorities and stakeholders; the impact of the redundancies as regards local, regional or national employment; the coordinated package of personalised services to be funded; dates on which the personalised services to affected workers were started or planned to start; procedures for consulting the social partners; management and control systems. We believe that the request satisfies the eligibility criteria and that the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs should be involved in the process in order to provide constructive support and assistance in assessing the requests for the mobilisation of the fund."@en1
