lpv:spoken text	"I supported this Report on the proposal for a directive on the management of spent fuel and radioactive waste. The current directive only covers spent fuel storage facilities directly related to nuclear installations, the current proposal intends to assure safety in the long term of the management of existing and future radioactive waste. It is crucial that we work together to guarantee the highest possible safety standards. Indeed, many generations to come will remain at risk This Report calls on member states to accept common minimum standards, invest in new technologies and, importantly, to ban nuclear waste export to third countries."@en1
