The Group of the Greens/European Free Alliance tried to introduce key amendments asking for the use of Eurobonds, fiscal convergence and the application of a cap on financial sanctions and other incentives. These amendments were not adopted and the report ended up being nothing more than a list of sanctions on those countries that do not adhere to their budget. This Directive is intrinsically linked to the Wortmann-Kool report which has already been elaborated on. Thus I have voted against."@en1
