lpv:translated text	"I am voting in favour of this draft European Parliament legislative resolution on the draft Council decision on the conclusion of the protocol setting out the fishing opportunities and financial contribution provided for in the Fisheries Partnership Agreement between the European Community and the Democratic Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe. The draft is aimed at consolidating the role of the EU in tuna fisheries in the Atlantic Ocean through legal regulation of the activity of the EU’s fleet. Bearing in mind the relevance of the tuna industry for the EU and for Italy alone, developing the operative framework of the EU’s fleet in the Gulf of Guinea is of primary importance. On the basis of these considerations, I decided to vote in favour of this draft."@en1
