The Hungarian Presidency is strongly convinced that the newly adopted – not revised – Hungarian constitution is fully in line with the basic values and principles on which the Union is founded. Since the beginning of our Presidency, we have dedicated all our energy and have been tireless in our efforts in promoting the common European agenda. I am especially pleased that not even the critics, who were mentioned during today’s debate, have questioned the firmness and the sincerity of my government’s commitment."@en1
