"One merit of this text is that it takes account of the potentially negative effects of GMOs. However, it promotes the liberalisation of the trade in services between the European Union and India. Furthermore, it leaves States just one right, that of ‘regulating’ public services, an action that a liberalisation of this nature nonetheless condemns. It also calls for the liberalisation of legal and accounting services, the opening up of the market in banks and insurance, and the relaxation of investment rules. The interests of the oligarchy are served in Europe as they are in India. I am voting against this report."@en1
