".
During a financial crisis, the European Union needs to focus its expenditure on dealing with the crisis. Around 15% of citizens in the European Union live below the poverty threshold. What significance do the Eight, Ninth and Tenth European Development Funds have for these people? I am not against the European Development Funds, but I think that, in order to support the other countries, the European Union needs to deal with its own problems first. I am sure that these 15% of European Union citizens expect the same."@en1
