lpv:translated text	"I voted in favour of this report and agreed that the European Parliament should postpone its decision to grant discharge in respect of the implementation of the budget of the Council for the financial year 2009. The Council has not accepted any invitation to officially and formally meet Parliament’s Committee on Budgetary Control, responsible for the discharge procedure, or its rapporteur to discuss matters concerning the Council budget execution for 2009. The Council also refused to provide a written answer providing Parliament with the information and documents it requested. I agree with the rapporteur that the Council must provide Parliament’s Committee on Budgetary Control with comprehensive written answers, as well as all the required documents, by 15 June 2011 at the latest. The Council must also be accountable to the public for the funds entrusted to it, and in order to facilitate the exchange of information in the discharge procedure, it must follow the same approach as the other institutions."@en1
