lpv:translated text	"I endorsed this report and discharge in respect of the implementation of the budget of the European Network and Information Security Agency for the financial year 2009. The Court of Auditors judged that the Agency’s annual accounts for the financial year 2009 are reliable and that the underlying transactions are legal and regular. I agree with the rapporteur that the Agency should strengthen its internal controls to make sure that contracts and procurement procedures are correctly applied. The Agency must also provide regular information on its financial circuits and the responsibilities of the relevant financial and operational actors. Deficiencies in Agency staff selection procedures still remain and put at risk the transparency of these procedures. The Agency must redress this situation and inform the European Parliament on the actions taken. I also agree that the Agency should put in place ex-post controls with the help of a professional supplier."@en1
