lpv:translated text	"In view of the Court of Auditors’ statement that it has obtained reasonable assurances that the annual accounts for the financial year 2009 are reliable, and that the underlying transactions are legal and regular, I voted in favour of granting discharge in respect of the implementation of the budget of the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control for the financial year 2009. Clearly, every debate on discharge has its own particular context, and the context of today’s debate is the economic and financial crisis, which has caused financial and budgetary problems for a number of Member States. However, I think the Centre has done excellent work in strengthening European disease surveillance and assessing and communicating current and emerging threats to human health posed by infectious diseases. Lastly, I should like to congratulate the Centre on its contribution to the measures to fight the H1N1 virus pandemic of 2009."@en1
