"This motion for a resolution is inappropriate in both timing and form, as everyone knows that following the initial criticism made about media law in Hungary and the recommendations made by the Commission, the Hungarian Government has revised its position and altered everything about the law that was the target of criticism by the Commission. Therefore, the law voted upon by the Hungarian Parliament on 7 March was a version that complied perfectly with European legislation. That is why I do not understand the Left’s insistence on voting on this motion, so I voted against it."@en1
