As I am responsible for matters concerning multilingualism, I would like to point out that the Bureau of the European Parliament is currently studying a new system. At the moment, the interpreters indicate to the President that they are unable to keep up, but the President then has the difficult task of interrupting you. The system we are now investigating would mean that each of you, in your seat, would have a light to warn you when the interpreters cannot follow the speech, so that the President does not need to interrupt you and you would be informed of it directly instead."@en1
