It mentions all of the remaining weak areas that are currently preventing the closure of the last remaining open negotiating chapter. In its recommendations to the Croatian authorities, the report is mindful of sustainability, including with regard to the reforms of the judiciary and the fight against corruption, the guaranteed independence of which will be the key to Croatia’s future democratic development.
