"I welcome the fact that Parliament has been consulted again on the draft Council decision and that the negotiations on the association of Liechtenstein with the Dublin agreement with Switzerland will therefore proceed. In accordance with the wishes expressed by Parliament at the first reading, Parliament’s approval is necessary for the conclusion of this protocol with Liechtenstein. Given the link that already exists between Liechtenstein and the EU, I believe that the conclusion of the protocol is important, with the relevant amendments to the legal basis. That is why I voted as I did."@en1
